I live in Panama City, FL. I started looking for a vehicle around mid-June. Around 10 July I found a manual, AWD, 2007 Ford Escape at JM Jackson in Andalusia, AL that was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. From where I live to the dealership is just over 2 hours. I made the trip out to their lot. Took the vehicle for a test drive, called the bank to get my loan set up. I wanted this car. BUT I noticed the seal/trim around the front windshield had rotted away. I sked if they could get that fixed. The answer was yes. Great. The rear windshield wiper didn’t work. I asked if they could fix that. The answer was no. Not great but not a deal breaker. I told them to let me know when the windshield was fixed and I would be back. Made the 2+ hour drive back home and didn’t hear back from them. Called. Parts are on order we’ll call you by the end of the day with an update. Never heard back from them. They were very friendly and (in person) very professional. But not so professional that they could at LEAST call me back and say “we not going to do business with you”. Maybe I got greedy and wanted too much. Maybe I was a difficult customer. I still should have gotten a phone call or an email…message via carrier pigeon. Started off as a great experience…all I needed was a call.
Nice trucks and cars. Service you can count on.
Regret ever going there.
