Everything I could have imagined I needed (i.e. forgot to pack) was available where and when it was needed. Even the bath towels had the name of my suite (Laura Leigh Suite) embroidered on them. Not the name of the inn - the name of my suite!
There aren't enough stars to rate this wonderful Inn. Everything they do here, they do right.
I remember closing my eyes and shaking my head in a bit of disbelief when I walked into my room for the night. As you should see from the photos, the room and bathroom were flawless. The correct amount of appointments were done to every wall and in every area, without being overdone.
The Best B&B I've ever stayed in!! Very comfortable and relaxing. I will be back!
I surprised my wife for her birthday with a visit to the Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast. We both really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful, and all the rooms were unique and well decorated. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and a real highlight. Best of all, the owners decorated our room with balloons and provided a cake to surprise my wife and help make her birthday that much more special. Thank you for a wonderful birthday vacation stay!

It was with great pleasure that Verlensia and I visited Sweet Gum for the second time and it was as great as the first. We simply love and enjoy the rustic atmosphere provided there and the camaraderie is second to none. Expect another visit from us
The breakfast quiche and potatoes and fresh squeezed oranges were perfectly prepared and presented beautifully. This little peach soup was an exquisite addition.
From the moment I arrived, I noticed that every detail had been thoughtfully placed and cleaned to perfection.
In every direction I looked (and probably many I never saw), there was attention to detail you would never expect. This was the absolute finest establishment I have ever stayed in. I don't believe this experience could ever be topped by another bed and breakfast - but one can hope.
